The Mahindra XUV700 SUV has a waiting period of up to 13 months in the Indian market. This particular SUV from Mahindra has been the most well-liked model since its launch. According to the market reports, the model has been witnessing surging demand in the country, leading to its long waiting period. Several market reports revealed that the SUV's MX and AX3 petrol versions reported a waiting period of a 2-month, while the AX5 petrol model announced a 4-month waiting duration in November 2022. At the same time, the diesel-powered MX, AX3, and AX5 trims had a waiting time of up to 10 months, while the petrol and diesel AX7 and AX7L versions commanded a waiting time of up to 15 months. Currently, the SUV asks for a 13-month-long waiting time in our market. Here's a variant-wise breakdown of the waiting period for the SUV.

Mahindra XUV700 SUV: Current Waiting Period

The petrol-powered standard MX and the AX3 variants have a six-month waiting time, whereas the diesel-based versions hold a seven-month waiting in the market. On the other side, the waiting duration for the mid-level AX5 petrol and diesel models is currently eight months. 

The higher-spec AX7 and AX7L versions have a lengthy waiting duration. The AX7 variant commands a waiting period of up to 11 months, while the AX7L trim has a wait time of up to 13 months.

For propulsion, the SUV gets two engine options: a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 197bhp and 380Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, capable of generating up to 183bhp and 450Nm. Both engines are coupled to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Only the diesel engine offers all-wheel drive. In our market, the XUV700 retails between Rs 14.01 lakh and Rs 26.18 lakh (Both prices, ex-showroom).
