In a limited-time campaign to commemorate reaching a significant sales milestone – selling over 2 lakh units nationwide – Nissan Motor India is currently offering significant discounts on the Magnite SUV of up to Rs 86,000. Nissan's modest product range in India comprises two models, with the Magnite being the sales driver. The brand sells the high-end X-Trail SUV in addition to the Magnite. Customers can contact authorised Nissan dealerships for full offer details and eligibility requirements if they would like to take advantage of these benefits. This celebratory offer aims to increase the compact SUV's appeal among potential buyers in a highly competitive segment while also acknowledging its commercial success.

Prices start at Rs 6.14 lakh and go up to Rs 11.76 lakh (ex-showroom), with 24 variants on offer, including CNG-equipped models. In the competitive sub-4m SUV category, it rivals the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Fronx, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
Two different 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine options are available for the Nissan Magnite, each of which is designed to meet specific driving requirements. The more potent turbocharged version of the engine generates 99bhp of maximum power and 160Nm of peak torque, while the naturally aspirated (NA) engine generates 71bhp and 96Nm.

Although the NA unit also has an AMT and the turbo can be mated to a CVT, both engines come with a five-speed manual gearbox. According to Nissan, the CVT version offers about 17.4km/l, while the manual version can reach up to 20km/l.
The Japanese carmaker recently also launched a factory-backed CNG version, co-developed with Motozen, for greater flexibility. It has an upgraded suspension system to handle the extra weight, a 12-kg tank, and a 3-year/1 lakh-kilometre warranty. There is still boot space that can hold two suitcases and smaller bags in spite of the CNG kit.

An 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB Type-C ports, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, push-button start, and automatic climate control are all included inside the Magnite. However, the list of features still does not include a sunroof.
