Tata Punch, Nexon EV Waiting Period Increases up to 6 Weeks in India

The waiting period for the Tata Nexon EV and the Punch has been revealed for the Indian market. The models are currently having an extended waiting period of up to 6 weeks. Read on below to know the variant-wise waiting duration.

Increasing disposable income is one of the reasons behind more and more people purchasing cars in India. As many people are reaching showrooms to buy their preferred four-wheelers, the pressure to enhance production is increasing on manufacturers. Due to this, the wait for delivery is also getting longer. The waiting period to purchase some of the well-liked models in India keeps changing, and manufacturers frequently update about the same to interested customers. In a recent development, we came to know about the waiting duration for the popular Tata cars - the Punch & the Nexon EV in India. According to reports, the waiting time for these cars has extended in our market. It should be noted that the waiting period applies to the Mumbai region and varies according to a number of factors, including, stock availability, location, variants, and more. Let's have a closer look at the variant-wise waiting period for the cars.

Tata Punch Waiting Period

The wait time for the Tata Punch was four weeks last month. However, it has stretched up to six weeks now. From the day of booking, all Tata Punch variants require a waiting period of two to six weeks. The waiting time is for Mumbai and may change depending on the versions, location, stock levels, and other variables. Customers who are interested in learning more can get in touch with the nearby Tata-authorized dealership. The five-seater micro SUV retails between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). There are four trims of the model - Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. Additionally, both the Adventure and Accomplished variants come in the new Camo edition. Mechanically, it is driven by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, capable of delivering 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. 

Tata Nexon EV Waiting Period 

Customers interested to buy the Nexon have to wait a little longer. The EV, available in two variants: Prime and Max, is witnessing an extended waiting period, which applies to Mumbai city and varies according to location, dealership, colour, and other factors. The Nexon EV Max requires a four-week waiting period, whereas the Nexon EV Prime has a three to four-week waiting period.

A new Dark variant of the Tata Nexon EV Max has recently entered our market. The corporation offers the Dark Edition exclusively on the top-spec XZ+ Lux variant of the EV, with and without a 7.2kW AC fast charger. In our market, the Dark edition cost begins at Rs 19.04 lakh for the XZ+ Lux model (without a charger) and reaches up to Rs 19.54 lakh for the XZ+ Lux trim (with a charger). Both prices are ex-showroom.
