Toyota Vellfire MPV Waiting Period Reaches up to 14 Months in India

In August, the brand-new Toyota Vellfire was launched in the Indian market with a staggering starting price of Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom). The premium MPV is expensive, but despite this, demand for it appears to be rising across the country, as indicated by the long waiting duration. From the day of booking in September, this new multipurpose vehicle from Toyota's stable has a waiting period of up to 14 months in our market. Toyota Vellfire: Powertrain

The MPV is bolstered by the brand's TNGA-K platform and packs a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid motor underneath its bonnet. The engine delivers a maximum power of 190bhp and 240Nm of peak torque, mated to an e-CVT, and offers a fuel efficiency of 19.28 km/l.

The new MPV includes powered sun blinds, a huge touchscreen infotainment screen, captain seats with massaging functions for the second row, as well as 60 connected features. The car also has a 360-degree camera, six airbags, hill-assist control, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which include lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. 

The 2023 model weighs less than the previous iteration and measures 1,850mm in width, 1,950mm in height, and 4,995mm in length with a 3,000mm wheelbase. The height and length have increased by 50mm and 60mm, respectively, while the wheelbase and width have not changed from the previous model.
