According to the proposed regulation, six airbags will become mandatory in all cars sold in India from 1 October 2022. This is going to be a tough ask for many carmakers as different cars will require different levels of engineering effort, to comply with this new rule. In this video, we take a look at how different carmakers will cope with this new rule. We break down the list of cars into ones that will be hardest to engineer, and cars that wouldn’t require a great effort for this conversion.
