Alpine F1, which is owned by Renault, received a lot of money and fame early this year. Actors Ryan Reynolds, Michael B. Jordan, and Rob McElhenney, along with their investment firm Otro Capital, have thrown 200 million euros into the squad. This investment gained widespread media coverage, which boosted Alpine's profile in the racing world. But that wasn't the end of the team's appeal. After that, a number of famous athletes from all around the world became investors in Alpine. This esteemed group includes Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, alongside his teammate, tight end Travis Kelce. Rory McIlroy represents golf, and former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua brings star power to the side as a boxing legend. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Juan Mata, two football legends, have also joined the team as investors. Their involvement reflects the team's growing global appeal, uniting both the worlds of motorsport and a range of other sports under the Alpine Formula 1 banner.

F1: Alpine's 2023 Season So Far

F1 Alpine 1

Alpine is currently in the bottom five in the constructor championship standings with only five races remaining in the 2023 season, starting with the 2023 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Because of McLaren's recent success, Alpine is now playing catch-up following the Austrian Race.

Alpine's potential has been demonstrated by the fact that both Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly have taken home a podium result so far this season. However, the team's overall performance and consistency have been less than stellar.

With 90 points, Alpine is now sixth in the standings. McLaren, however, has moved up to challenge Aston Martin for fourth spot after a string of podium performances. The Alpine team as a whole has had a lacklustre season, and they have a lot of work to do in the remaining races if they want to move up in the constructor championship standings.
