The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) with CEAT as the title sponsor, will make its debut in October 2023. Registration for the inaugural edition, which will be held in India from October to December 2023, has commenced. The Indian Supercross racing league promises to bring together riders from around the world to participate in a variety of formats and categories, targeting an overall pool of 246 riders - out of which, 88 will be selected. It is the world's first franchise-based sport that is witnessing tremendous popularity in the country. The first season will be made up of three rounds. The first round is scheduled to be held at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in October this year, followed by rounds in Ahmedabad and Pune. Interestingly, the rounds will not be limited to select cities to ensure a wider reach.
For the first time, we will have brand-based leagues instead of city-based teams. "We have reached out to all the federations worldwide to ensure that Supercross racers from across the globe have a chance to register for the rider pool and seize the opportunity to be a part of this historic rider’s auction. The Supercross Racing League is revolutionising the sport, and we hope to attract a league of extraordinary riders who are ready to dominate the world of Supercross. This is your chance to showcase your talent, ignite the track, and propel India to the forefront of the motorsport world. Don't miss out on this exhilarating opportunity!", said Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder and Director of Supercross India Pvt. Ltd.
