Indian Supercross Racing League: BigRock Motorsports wins Round 2 in Ahmedabad

The second round of the Ceat Indian Supercross Racing League was a nail-biter. In the end, it was the BigRock Motorsports squad's performance that put them in first place in the competition.

In an exciting event that took place in Ahmedabad as part of the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), BigRock Motorsports proved its supremacy by winning races in numerous categories. Notably, in the hotly contested 450cc international race, the dominant performer from BigRock Motorsports, riding the Kawasaki, was crowned the winner. The 250cc international race was won by Reid Taylor, another strong competitor from BigRock Motorsport. In the 250cc India Asia Mix category, Ben Prasit Hallgren of Mohite's Racing rode a Kawasaki to victory, adding to the team's success at the EKA Arena.

With an incredible turnout of over 10,000 spectators—500 more than the stadium could comfortably accommodate—the event was a huge success. Gujarat CM Bhupendrabhai Patel was one of the notable guests who showed up at the Supercross Racing League's Round 2 to show his support for the state's thriving sports scene. During his speech, he praised the event and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's imaginative approach.

At the moment,  BigRock Motorsport's Reid Taylor has an impressive 40 points and is leading the 250cc International category. Julien Lebeau, his fierce rival, sits in second place, only behind him, with 34 points.

This event features four classes: 450cc, 250cc, 250cc India/Asia mix, and junior 85cc. The first round only allowed a demonstration run in the Junior 85cc category, although the other three categories received points. Throughout the day, each team selected a senior racer to participate in a thrilling all-star race. The thrill of the competition was heightened at this event when riders on 450cc and 250cc motorcycles raced side by side on a specially designed circuit.

Ceat Indian Supercross Racing League: How to Watch?

The final event will be held on February 25 at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Keep an eye out for ticket sales on BookMyShow in the coming days. Every round will also be televised live on JioCinema and Sports 18, allowing fans to see everything on the go.
