The Pulsar NS200 was the first bike to be born after the collaboration between KTM and Bajaj. The NS200 sits between the 220F and the RS200 in the Bajaj motorcycle line-up. The NS200, with its aggressive and muscular look, stays true to the Pulsar’s racing DNA. The NS200 is perhaps the hottest 200cc motorcycle on sale in India right now.
The Pulsar NS200 is a hot head-turner that was the first bike out of the Bajaj KTM collaboration. Dimensionally, the NS200 is 2,017mm in length, 804mm in width, and 1,075mm in height. The kerb weight of the bike is 156kg, and the ground clearance is 168mm. The fuel tank has a filling capacity of 12-litres.
Engine & Transmission
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 gets a 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, good for 23.8bhp and 18.5Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox. Further, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 mileage is expected to be around 40km/l.
The Pulsar NS200 is built around a pressed steel perimeter chassis, and it rides on telescopic forks (anti-friction bush type) suspension at the front and a Nitrox mono shock absorber with canister suspension at the back. It gets a 100/80-17 section tyre at the front and a 130/70-17 section tyre at the rear. The stopping power comes from a 280mm and a 230mm disc at the front and the rear, respectively.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 new model features a part digital instrument cluster, which is further divided into an analogue tachometer and a digital display housing the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, and trip meter. The headlamp of the NS200 is a halogen unit while the taillamp is an LED.
