Powering the&nbsp;Benelli Leoncino is a&nbsp;500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is linked&nbsp;to a six-speed transmission. The power and torque figures stand at&nbsp;46.8bhp&nbsp;at 8,500rpm and 46Nm at 6,000rpm, respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last year,<a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/harley-davidson-x500-unveiled-in-china-based-on-benelli-leoncino-500-112988/"> the&nbsp;Benelli Leoncino-based cruiser&nbsp;was launched overseas</a>. Named the Harley-Davidson X500, it is the second product of the Harley-Davidson and QJMotor collaboration. To keep development costs low, the cruiser comes&nbsp;powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine rather than&nbsp;a V-Twin engine, which is used in nearly all Harley-Davidson motorcycles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hardware-wise, the Harley-Davidson X500 features a tubular frame suspended&nbsp;by 50mm upside-down front forks offering 124mm of travel&nbsp;and a mono-shock at the rear offering 112mm of travel. The bike supports preload and rebound adjustments.&nbsp;Braking duties are carried out by a dual front disc with 4-piston callipers&nbsp;and a single rear disc with a single-piston calliper, accompanied by a switchable dual-channel anti-lock braking system.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Benelli 502C,&nbsp;Keeway K300 N: New Prices</h2>

<p>Meanwhile, the&nbsp;Benelli 502C and the&nbsp;Keeway K300 N see price cuts of Rs 60,000 and Rs 26,000, respectively. As a result, the 502C and&nbsp;K300 N are now offered at Rs 5.25 lakh and Rs 2.29 lakh, respectively. Prices are ex-showroom. Benelli's 502C is built around a trellis frame suspended by upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. In terms of mechanicals, it gets the same&nbsp;500cc <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/eicma-2023-benelli-tornado-300-400-and-500-unveiled-gets-parallel-twin-engine-115254/">parallel-twin engine</a> as the&nbsp;Leoncino, generating the same power and torque. In the Indian market, the 502C rivals the&nbsp;Kawasaki Eliminator (Rs 5.62 lakh), the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 (Rs 3.61 lakh-Rs 3.91 lakh), and others.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for the K300 N sport naked, there is a&nbsp;292cc, 4-stroke, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, which&nbsp;puts out 27bhp&nbsp;at 8,750rpm and 25Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.&nbsp;The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, sending power to the rear wheels. The suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock, while the stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends. Features-wise, the bike offers an LCD instrument cluster, ABS, and all-LED lighting.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Tornado 500 is equipped with a 5.0-inch colour TFT display that offers many functions including Bluetooth connectivity, TPMS function, USB, and a USB-C port. The bike's frame consists of a tubular steel trellis arrangement, which is enhanced by the presence of an inverted Marzocchi 41 mm fork and a centrally positioned shock absorber. Significantly, this particular model is fitted with a capacious 16.5-litre fuel tank.</p>

<p>The Tornado 300 incorporates a 5-inch colour TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity while retaining the frame characteristics of the 400cc version. These include an inverted fork and a rear swingarm equipped with a mono-shock that allows for adjustable spring preload. The fuel tank possesses a capacity of 14 litres, while the seat is positioned at a height of 800 mm, hence facilitating a seamless integration of technological features and rider comfort.</p>

<h2>Engine</h2>

<p>Distinguished by premium components for heightened performance, the Tornado 500 showcases a robust 500cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering a potent 47.6 bhp and 46 Nm of torque.</p>

<p>The Benelli Tornado 300 has a 300cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, generating a nimble 35 bhp and 27 Nm. In contrast, the Tornado 400 boasts a 399cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing an impressive 47.6 bhp and 38 Nm.</p>

<p>In terms of competition, the Tornado 300 sets its sights on rivals like the Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3, while the Tornado 400 competes against the Ninja 400. Lastly, the Tornado 500 enters the arena against the recently unveiled Ninja 500. Despite this, Benelli appears unlikely to introduce any of the aforementioned Tornado models anytime soon to the Indian market.</p>

At EICMA 2023, Benelli debuted its newest line of motorcycles, joining the ranks of other major manufacturers. The Tornado series, which includes models ranging from 300cc to 500cc, garnered significant attention.

<p>The TRK 502 and the TRK 502X adventure tourer motorcycles' prices in India have been recently altered&nbsp;by the Italian bikemaker Benelli. Both motorcycles now cost Rs 25,000 more than they previously did. Following the latest hike, the asking price of the 2023 Benelli TRK 502 now stands at Rs 5.85 lakh, whereas that of the Benelli TRK 502X is Rs 6.35 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India.&nbsp;It is important to keep in mind that costs have increased by about a lakh on the TRK 502 series since the BS6 updated version of the bike&nbsp;was launched&nbsp;in the Indian market&nbsp;with a price tag&nbsp;of Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Nevertheless, costs for motorcycles have increased across the board. For those unaware,&nbsp;the Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) facility is located close to Hyderabad, where the model is locally assembled and sold. The TRK 502 range is imported into the nation as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit.</p>

<h2>Benelli&nbsp;TRK 502 Range: Design and Colour Options</h2>

<p>At EICMA 2022, Benelli unveiled the TRK 502 touring motorcycle line. The Benelli TRK 502 will now be offered in Grey, White, Black (new), and Forest Green (new), thanks to the introduction of the new colors. Additionally, there will be four other colour options for the Benelli TRK 502X: Grey, White, Yellow, and Forest Green (new).</p>

<p>Design-wise, the 502 series incorporated blacked-out footpegs, brake and clutch levers, and handguards.&nbsp;A large LED headlight, handguards with aluminum inlays, and a central stand have been fitted to both motorcycles. Both the clutch lever and the upgraded handlebar may be adjusted to provide the optimal riding conditions for each rider. Both ADVs have redesigned hand grips, handy aluminum pawls placed beneath the saddle, illuminated handlebar switchgear, rear-view mirrors with updated designs, and more.</p>

<h2>Benelli&nbsp;TRK 502 Range: Mechanical Specs and Hardware</h2>

<p>A 500cc parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm and 47bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm is employed by the middleweight adventure tourers. A 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine.</p>

<p>In terms of hardware, the 502X has adjustable suspension, including front 50mm USDs with a 140mm travel and rear central monoshocks with a 62mm travel.&nbsp;To handle uneven road surfaces, the TRK 502X moreover has an exhaust installed in a higher position than the TRK 502's road-going counterpart.&nbsp;A 260mm diameter disc at the back and a double disc with 2-piston floating callipers at the front of the model provide a strong, controlled, and well-balanced stopping performance. The front 19-inch spoked aluminum alloy rims and the rear 17-inch rims are shod with 110/80 and 150/70 tyres, respectively. The TRK 502 rides on 17-inch aluminum alloy rims with a 120/70-17 front and a 160/60-17 rear tyre. Both motorcycles have a 20-litre tank capacity.</p>

The TRK 502 and TRK 502X's prices in India have been recently altered by Benelli. Both motorcycles now cost Rs 25,000 more than before. Following the hike, the ex-showroom asking price of the 2023 Benelli TRK 502 now stands at Rs 5.85 lakh, whereas that of the Benelli TRK 502X is Rs 6.35 lakh.

<p>Benelli has brought to&nbsp;international markets its updated quarter-litre TNT 25N bike. Launched in the Malaysian market, the price of the latest motorcycle stands at Rs 2.42 lakh (RM 12,998). The price is ex-showroom. Although the&nbsp;TNT 25N has now arrived on foreign shores, the roadster has been discontinued from the Indian lineup. Besides, we have no official details with respect to its comeback in the Indian market. The&nbsp;Benelli TNT 25N motorcycle has been upgraded to include a redesigned four-stroke, single-cylinder motor that puts out&nbsp;25bhp of maximum power and 21.2Nm of peak torque. It is inspired by the 320S bike in terms of its styling and is offered in 3 colour options that include Golden Yellow, Power Black, and Strength Red.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>2023 Benelli TNT 25N: Powertrain Details</h2>

<p>In terms of powertrain, the 2023 TNT 25N uses a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with EFI and TLI, which&nbsp;is mated to a 6-speed transmission, enabling the motorcycle to send power to the rear wheels. This engine is capable of producing 25bhp of maximum power at 9,250rpm and 21.2Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm.</p>

<h2>2023 Benelli TNT 25N: Styling, Features</h2>

<p>Style-wise,&nbsp;the updated TNT 25N draws inspiration from the Benelli 320S. The exterior consists of a muscular fuel tank, a single-pod headlamp, a body-coloured fender at the front, and a side-slung exhaust. It rides on 17-inch, split-style alloy wheels that come wrapped in tubeless tyres. Besides,&nbsp;the motorcycle receives a padded seat and&nbsp;grab rails.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>2023 Benelli TNT 25N: Suspension, Braking</h2>

<p>The bike's suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front offering 120mm of travel and a mono-shock at the rear offering 45mm of travel. For handling braking duties, the&nbsp;Benelli TNT 25N gets petal-shaped disc brakes at both ends -&nbsp;a 260mm front disc and a 240mm rear motor. It has a fuel storage capacity of around 13.5 litres, and the dry weight of the TNT 25N is 155kg. It is available with a seat height of 780mm, a wheelbase of 1,365mm, and a ground clearance of 170mm.</p>

The 2023 TNT 25N uses a 249cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. It is offered in 3 colour options that include Golden Yellow, Power Black, and Strength Red. 

<p><strong>Not just a TNT 302 with a fairing, the Benelli 302R promises to be a lot more as it gets set to enter the entry-level performance segment.</strong></p>

<p>Stepping into the Indian market in 2014, the Benelli brand was launched with five motorcycles – four of which were naked. Subsequent, they introduced an entry-level single pot offering last year in the shape of the TNT25 – also a naked. So, even after all these launches, they missed a fully-faired product in their line-up. So, finally, after a long wait, the Italian bike maker is about to fill that gap with the launch of the 302R quite soon.</p>

<p>First things first, the Benelli 302 ain’t a TNT302 that has a fairing slapped on. It’s an all-new motorcycle, well almost! Aside from the design, which is the obvious aspect of distinction, the 302R is based on an all-new trellis frame. And while it does sport the same parallel-twin unit, it’s differently tuned to suit the DNA of the bike. But, before we get into the technical jargon, let’s take a closer look at its design. <img alt="Benelli 302R Badge" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-80011" src="/uploads/2016/11/benelli-302r-review-badge-m.jpg" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold; width: 642px; height: 336px;" /></p>

<p>In the flesh, the Benelli 302R looks moderately eccentric. The massive fairing makes it look larger than its displacement suggests, especially from the front three-quarter angle – thereby giving it a ‘big bike’ feel. ­The U-shaped headlights, underlined by Daytime Running Lights, make it look purposeful. In profile, certain parts of the fairing are reminiscent of the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. But thanks to the relatively narrow rear section it tends to look somewhat disproportionate. Rear three-quarters is probably the best angle from which to view the Benelli 302R, but we would have liked it better had the tail section been a bit smaller. The bike we rode was a pre-production model and was draped in a multi-colour livery, but the production model is expected to come with a different colour scheme.</p>

<p>Swing a leg onto the Benelli 302R, and you find its riding position to be extremely comfortable. It isn’t overly aggressive, nor is it relaxed like a touring machine. In fact, it finds the right balance between the two. The handlebar isn’t very low and the seat height is ideal for an average sized Indian. That said, you might just feel a bit cramped if you’re 6-foot-something. And that puny rear seat won’t be very comfortable for pillion riders. Moreover, the absence of grab rails means that there’s nothing to hold onto either.</p>

<p>The Benelli 302R borrows its engine from its naked sibling, which means that it gets the same 300cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin unit. The Italian bike maker, however, has tuned the engine differently to suit the dynamics of this fully faired offering. Unlike the TNT 302, which had to be revved hard to extract the best from it, the 302R packs more punch in the mid-range – and this should be quite useful in both the city and on the highway. But as you twist the wrist and the tacho needle goes north of the 6,000rpm mark, the vibrations can be felt on the handlebars as well as the foot pegs.</p>

<p>The Benelli 302R may not be the fastest entry-level motorcycle out there, but it sure can hold three-digit speeds comfortably – with enough juice left over for swift overtaking manoeuvres. Since this is a prototype, and is in the process of homologation, Benelli hasn’t shared its power and torque ratings but they claim that it’ll be marginally lower than the TNT 302. The difference in power should be miniscule and won’t really affect its real-world performance. And, although the 302R also comes with a 6-speed transmission, the gear ratios are different. They’re now better spaced out, with the lower cogs being relatively short for improved efficiency. While the shifts are precise, they’re too rubbery for my liking.</p>

<p>The Benelli 302R sits on upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the back. The setup leans towards the stiffer side, which makes the overall ride a bit harsh. Thankfully the riding posture isn’t overly aggressive though, so it doesn’t leave you with a sore back after a long ride. On the flipside, stiffer springs give the Benelli impressive handling dynamics. It leans in with ease, feels composed while attacking corners and the Metzeler rubber further helps in inspiring confidence. Our only grouse were the foot pegs that scrape the tarmac far too easily. The ground clearance, meanwhile, is good enough so you don’t quite have to worry about scraping the underbelly over rough surfaces.</p>

<p>Benelli hasn’t announced the price of the 302R as yet, but it’s sure to play a crucial role in the eventual success of the bike. Keeping in mind that the bike will go up against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Yamaha YZF-R3, Benelli can gain an edge by undercutting both its rivals. Although the prototype we rode wasn’t equipped with ABS, Benelli says that the production version is sure to get it. Aside from this, the 302R does manage to shine with regards to comfort and handling – making it a neat all round package.</p>
