Honda CB350RS Highlights
Based on the same platform as the H’ness CB350, the CB350RS is the first café racer from Honda in this space. What’s new to the CB350RS are some unique styling elements – like a redesigned headlamp, upswept exhaust, reprofiled front mudguard, stubby tail, and, of course, the badging – but it does share its mechanicals with its sibling. Like the H’ness CB350, it, too, will be available across the brand’s Big Wing dealerships.
Apart from a few design highlights, the CB350RS looks very similar to the standard H’ness CB350. Dimension-wise, the RS is 2,171mm in overall length, 804mm in overall width, and 1,097mm in overall height. The kerb weight of the bike is 179kg, and its fuel carrying capacity is rated at 15-litres. Moreover, the ground clearance of the bike is 168mm.
Engine & Transmission
The Honda CB350RS features the same 348cc single-cylinder motor as its sibling, which means it churns out 20.78bhp of power and 30Nm of torque. The air-cooled engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. As for its efficiency, the Honda CB350RS mileage should be in the same league as its sibling.
The Honda CB350RS is built around a half-duplex cradle frame, and it rides on telescopic forks at the front and a twin-hydraulic suspension at the back. The bike further gets a 100/90-19M/C 57H tyre at the front and a 150/70-17M/C 69H section tyre at the back. For braking, it uses a 310mm disc at the front followed by a 240mm disc at the rear.
The Honda CB350RS new model comes equipped with the same set of features as the H’ness CB350. It gets full-LED lighting as standard, while the instrumentation is handled by a semi-digital instrument cluster, segregated into an analogue speedometer and a small digital display showing a ton of rider-centric information. It also gets dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment.
