Honda Vezel
Change CarHonda Vezel Preview
There have been several rumours in the past of Honda bringing in the Vezel to India. But keeping in mind how quickly the compact SUV class of cars is growing, it is going to be difficult for Honda to ignore it further. Although Honda already has the BR-V in the same segment, it is more of a 7-seater crossover than an SUV. To fill the gap between the BR-V and the CR-V, Honda is expected to being in the Vezel.
The Vezel is available in the global market with a wide variety of engine options. It comes fitted with a 1.8-litre petrol motor that is good for 137bhp but in India we are yet to see what engine options Honda brings with the Vezel. Honda also sells the Vezel in Indonesia (as HR-V) with a 1.5-litre petrol motor.
In terms of design, the Vezel will sport a wide chrome grille and spearhead shaped headlights with DRLs on either side. The bumper is large and comes with integrated air dams and fog lamps. At the back, the Vezel comes with comma shaped taillights LED and a nicely sculpted tailgate. It will come heavily equipped with features, including button start, touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, sun roof, electrically adjustable driver seat and more.
When launched, the Honda Vezel will lock horns against the likes of the Tata Hexa, Hyundai Tucson and the Jeep Compass.
