2022 KTM 390 Adventure revealed

The international spec KTM 390 Adventure now features minor cosmetic changes and an updated traction control system. We're expecting KTM India to introduce the 390 Adventure with the same updates in the coming months.
The KTM 390 Adventure has been updated with new colour schemes and a few features. The new 2022 390 Adventure is equipped with a more sophisticated traction control unit which features a street mode and an off-road mode. While the street traction control mode ensures that the rear wheel does not slip on rough surfaces, the off-road traction mode has slightly different functionality.
The off-road traction mode allows a certain amount of slip which is more suitable in off-road situations. Also, if one stalls the motorcycle, the new 2022 KTM 390 Adventure does not reset itself to the street traction mode and restarts in the same mode as before.
Additionally, KTM has equipped the updated offroader with more robust alloy wheels, however, we would have loved to see a set of spoke wire wheels on offer – which are more suited for hard-core offroading – at least as an optional extra. Nonetheless, the alloy wheel setup offers easy maintenance and is lighter in nature which adds to its pros.
The final talking point on the new 390 Adventure are the two new colour schemes. There is a flashy Orange on Blue with White highlights colour option which is observed on the KTM's premium motorcycles. Another colour scheme is Orange on Grey which is more stealthy.
The motorcycle is mechanically the same and continues with the same braking and suspension hardware. The engine is untouched and the power figures are the same as before.
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure will be launched in the international market later this month. KTM India is likely to bring the updated 390 Adventure by the Q1 of 2022. That being said, the next big launch for the brand is the 2022 KTM RC390, which will debut in January next year. The launch of the new 390 Adventure is likely to follow soon, and the updates will mostly up the price marginally.
