The 2023 Ducati Diavel receives an updated chassis and suspension and a more potent V4 engine.

The new Diavel V4 has been unveiled by Ducati for the global markets, updating its product line. Although the details of its launch are still unknown, this power cruiser is set to enter the Indian market as well. The V4 Granturismo engine has joined the Diavel line-up, following the Panigale, Streetfighter, and Multistrada. The 2023 Ducati Diavel receives an updated chassis and suspension and a more potent V4 engine. This variant of the Italian firm's power cruiser is powered by a 1,158cc V4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 165.7bhp at 10,750rpm and 126Nm at 7,500rpm.

Remarkably, the V4 engine includes a cylinder deactivation technology that shuts down the rear bank when necessary to save fuel consumption as well as heating. Furthermore, compared to the Multistrada V4, major maintenance is scheduled at 60,000-kilometre intervals. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quickshifter. The Diavel V4 offers three power options in addition to four ride modes- Sport, Urban, Touring, and the latest Wet mode. The ride modes use varied settings for the bike's sophisticated electronic rider aids' power output, engine response, and intervention levels.

Next is the redesigned style, which is both fresh and reflective of the Diavel family. As a result, it features a robust design, a single-sided swingarm, and a large 240/45-section rear tyre. The V4 version, on the other hand, sports all-new headlights, single-side quad-exhaust pipes, stylish wheels, and a futuristic-looking LED taillight, all of which set it apart from its V-twin-powered predecessor. The Diaval V4 also has a cantilever-pattern rear shock absorber, 50mm upside-down front forks, dual 330mm front discs, and Brembo Stylema callipers. Other features include ABS with cornering function, full-LED lighting, launch control, wheelie control, and a five-inch colour TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity.
