2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V Launched at Rs 1.44 Lakh in India

Hero MotoCorp has finally introduced the 2023 version of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V in India. The base model costs Rs 1.44 lakh, whereas the top-spec Pro variant is priced at Rs 1.51 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero MotoCorp has launched a revamped version of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V in India. The base edition of the adventure-tourer motorcycle will retail at Rs 1.44 lakh, whereas the top-spec Pro version will cost Rs 1.51 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated off-road motorcycle now supports OBD2 and can run on E20 fuel. For 2023, Hero MotoCorp has made several mechanical and cosmetic modifications to the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. The two-wheeler manufacturer offers the base variant of the new XPulse 200 4V with bold graphics and appealing dual-tone colour choices, including Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue, and Black Sports Red. The 2023 XPulse 200 4V Pro, on the other hand, receives Rally Edition Graphics. Let's look at the details of the bike in terms of features, specs, engine, and design.

2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V: Design

In terms of design, a range of changes have been made to the 2023 model, including a brand-new Class-D LED Projector headlight with LED DRLs. According to Hero MotoCorp, the light intensity has been boosted by approximately 230%. The two-wheeler manufacturer has also included a 60mm taller Rally-style windscreen in the motorcycle. Aside from this, the new Hero XPulse 200 4V has received a renewed rider foot peg position, which is 35mm lower in the front and 8mm lower in the back. Further, it gets an improved baggage plate and a USB charging port.

2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V: Hardware & More Features

The 2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro variant features a fully adjustable 250mm front and 220mm rear suspension. According to the manufacturer, the motorcycle's off-road skills have been accentuated by the 850mm seat height, 270mm ground clearance, and handlebar riser. In addition, it gets three ABS modes – Road, Off-Road, and Rally. The ABS has been modified for dry roads in the Road mode and has decreased intervention in the Off-road mode. However, in Rally mode, it gets turned off. There is no Dual-channel ABS. The recently launched version continues with single-channel ABS for 2023. 

2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V: Engine

The motorcycle comes installed with an onboard diagnostics system to comply with the new pollution standards. Further, it also boasts E20 fuel compatibility. Mechanically speaking, the ADV has a 200cc four-valve oil-cooled BS-VI engine, which produces 19bhp at 8.000rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm. According to Hero MotoCorp, the OBD-II system monitors the functioning of the catalytic converter and improves vehicle efficiency by giving notifications of any fault.
