2024 KTM 790 Duke Globally Unveiled with New Colours and Graphics

KTM has revealed the new-generation 790 Duke for the international market. Mechanically, the bike remains unaltered and preserves the LC8c, 799cc parallel-twin motor.

The 790 Duke has been updated for the international market by KTM. The 2024 edition gets two new eye-catching colour schemes: grey and orange, as well as updated graphics on the fuel tank extensions and tail portion. The bike hasn't changed mechanically and harbours the same 799cc parallel-twin LC8c motor with 103bhp and 87Nm. In addition, the KTM motorcycle has four ride modes: Sport, Street, Rain, and Track, as well as a Supermoto mode. Traction control, wheelie control, and cornering ABS are additional riding aids. The aggressive design of the 2024 KTM 7790 Duke remains unchanged. With the updated version set to hit international shores shortly, let's have a closer look at its key features.

2024 KTM 790 Duke: Hardware and Engine

The suspension is taken care of by 43mm USD forks and a monoshock, both of which are adjustable and supplied by WP Apex. With dual-channel ABS, braking duties are carried out by a 300mm disc in front and a 240mm disc in the back. Furthermore, the 17-inch alloy wheels are equipped with Maxxis Supermaxx ST tyres. The 2024 790 Duke retains the LC8c engine with 103bhp and 87Nm and a 6-speed transmission.

2024 KTM 790 Duke: Features and Price 

The standard seat height of the bike is 825mm, however, an optional low seat option is available, which reduces the height to 805mm. The bike has four riding modes, and the involvement of riding aids including traction control, wheelie control, and ABS differs based on which mode is selected. Additionally, the motorcycle has a colour TFT console that shows data, changes themes in Track mode, and connects to Bluetooth. There is currently no information on the price of the 2024 edition. More details regarding this matter are predicted to be announced soon. 

2024 KTM 790 Duke: India Launch on the Cards?

KTM sold only a handful of the 790 Duke in India in 2020. However, there are no intentions of the automaker to reintroduce the motorcycle into our market, according to reports.

New KTM 390 Duke Launched in India 

KTM introduced the all-new 390 Duke in the country for Rs 3.11 lakh (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle can be pre-ordered via the manufacturer's official website for Rs 4,499, while dispatches are predicted to commence shortly. The new 390 Duke runs on a more powerful single-cylinder liquid-cooled 399cc motor. The engine produces 44.25bhp and 39Nm with a six-speed gearbox. A slipper clutch and a quick-shifter are also available.
