Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Z1100 in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.79 lakh, after unveiling it globally in September. The move not only reintroduces enthusiasts to one of Japan’s most respected super-naked nameplates, but also expands the brand’s lineup, giving more options to buyers in the 1000cc segment.
The motorcycle comes in a stealthy Metallic Grey shade and an array of advanced features, including an IMU-driven suite of electronic rider assists and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with enhanced connectivity. For now, Kawasaki has chosen not to offer the higher-spec SE version here.
The bike is inspired by the company’s renowned Sugomi design philosophy and has aggressive aesthetics. It competes against the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which is priced higher at Rs 13.29 lakh, giving Kawasaki a slight advantage in the premium super-naked segment.

The 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 is driven by a 1,099cc inline four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve, liquid-cooled engine, also found in the Ninja 1100SX. The unit delivers 134bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 113Nm at 7,600rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch.
It has been fine-tuned to enhance low- and mid-range performance while providing razor-sharp throttle response. Fuel efficiency stands at 17.8km/l, and the 17-litre tank allows for an estimated range of around 300 km per fill, making it suitable for longer journeys.
The Z1100 uses a robust twin-tube aluminium frame and a 41mm Showa SFF-BP inverted front fork with adjustable rebound and compression damping, along with spring preload settings, offering 120mm of travel.

The Z1100 comes equipped with a sophisticated electronics suite, supported by a 5-inch colour TFT display that allows access to all essential information. It has a five-axis IMU that forms the backbone of its rider-assist systems, enabling advanced features such as two selectable power modes, cornering ABS, three levels of traction control, and cruise control.
