Powered by a 48v 28 Ah Lithium-ion battery with a range of 60km, the Hero Dash is priced at Rs 62,000 (ex-showroom). The scooter takes 4 hours for a full charge

Just last week, Hero Electric brought in two electric scooters – Optima ER and Nyx ER. Now, the company has introduced another new model to their line-up – the Dash, at Rs 62,000 (ex-showroom). Powered by a 48v 28 Ah Lithium-ion battery, the Dash gets a riding range of just 60km. Thankfully though, it gets fast charging and can be fully charged in just 4 hours.

The Dash gets a wide front apron with cat-eye like LED headlights, LED turn indicators and LED DRLs. The dual tone treatment gives it a fresh appeal. Additionally, it also gets a digital instrument cluster and USB charging port. The Dash has a ground clearance of 145mm. It comes plonked with telescopic forks up front, magnesium alloy wheels draped with tubeless tyres. Hero Electric also showcased an extended range (ER) version of the Dash electric scooter. Pricing for the Dash ER hasn’t been announced as yet. Speaking of ER, Hero Electric brought in the Optima ER and the Nyx ER just last week.

Speaking about the launch, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric India said, “The all-new Dash is our latest and most lucrative offering that offers style, practicality, performance with a powerful Li-Ion battery that is portable and reliable, and I am certain this will appeal to people of all age groups. As always, we will continue to bring in new and better products and are always listening to customer feedback.”

Hero Electric currently has more than 600 touchpoints in the country. The company plans to expand this to 1000 touchpoint by 2020.
