Hero Karizma XMR Teased with 210cc Engine and More Features Ahead of Upcoming Launch

With numerous teasers released prior to launch, Hero MotoCorp has been building excitement for the latest Karizma XMR's return. The motorcycle's engine displacement and a number of other specifications have been revealed in the two-wheeler manufacturer's most recent video. The company has not yet shared any information about the specifications, however, market reports cite that the Karizma XMR will be supported at the front and back by telescopic forks and monoshocks, respectively. Further, the bike is expected to come equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of pricing, the new bike is anticipated to be within the bracket of Rs 1.60 lakh and Rs 1.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Hero Karizma XMR 210: What the New Teaser Reveals?
Hero has put an end to the long-running rumours over the engine size by confirming that the bike will actually have a 210cc engine. The DOHC head arrangement of the liquid-cooled mill further confirms that it will have a 4-valve layout. Additionally, this motor's redline, which is quite high for a single cylinder, is 10,000rpm, according to the digital tachometer on the LCD display. A digital gear position indicator provides additional information about the Karizma XMR's 6-speed gearbox. Digital speedometers, service indicators, clocks, temperature, and fuel gauges are among the other information displayed on the screen. Besides this, a dual-channel ABS sticker can also be seen in the teaser.
Hero Karizma XMR 210: Engine
The upcoming Hero Karizma XMR will be powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is expected to put out a maximum power of about 25bhp. For transmission, it will employ a six-speed gearbox.

According to the company, the new Hero Karizma XMR 210 will be available for purchase in India starting on August 29, 2023. The expected price, ex-showroom, is likely to be between Rs 1.60 lakh and Rs. 1.90 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures. In terms of competition, the new bike by Hero MotoCorp will face off against the Yamaha YZF-R15, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, and other models in India.
