Honda Activa 125 gets updated feature list
With the 125cc scooter segment growing faster than ever before, it was only a matter of time before Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) updated the feature list of the Activa 125. The company had brought the new 110cc Activa earlier this year.

With the 125cc scooter segment growing faster than ever before, it was only a matter of time before Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) updated the feature list of the Activa 125. The company had brought the new 110cc Activa earlier this year in February but its 125cc sibling didn’t get an update during the time. But with the likes of the TVS Ntorq, Aprilia SR 125 and Honda’s very own Honda Grazia available in the segment, the Honda Activa 125 was starting to feel the heat.
Honda has now fitted the Activa 125 with an LED headlamp and position lamp. The scooter also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with an Eco speed indicator and a service due indicator. Other features include a 4-in-1 lock with seat opening switch and a 3-step adjustable rear suspension. Cosmetic changes include black alloy wheels and a chrome plated muffler cover which will only be sold in the top-spec trim. Honda has also added a new matte silver paint option to the existing palette.
All of these changes have led Honda to increasing the prices of the Activa 125. The base variant with the front drum brake is now priced at Rs 59,621, the mid-spec Drum-Alloy variant would set you back by Rs 61,558 and the fully loaded front disc trim with the CBS option carries a price tag of Rs 64,007. All prices ex-showroom Delhi. The addition of all the aforementioned features has result in a rise in price of around Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000.
Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged. It still sports the same 124.9cc Honda Eco Technology (HET) motor that is good for 8.5bhp and 10.54Nm.
