In April 2023, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched the updated version of the SP125, which is available in two versions – drum and disc. The drum variant stands at Rs 85,131, while the disc variant is priced at Rs 89,131. All prices are ex-showroom. Now, Honda has introduced the Sports Edition of the SP125 in the country. And barring the bolder graphic schemes, a matte-finished exhaust muffler, and two new colour options that it gets, the Sports Edition looks identical to the standard version. The Honda SP125 Sports Edition is based on the disc brake variant of the standard motorcycle and is priced slightly more than the latter at Rs 90,567 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for the new bike are now underway, and it will go on sale at all Honda Red Wing dealerships across the country for a limited period.
On the aesthetic front, the limited edition gets a sporty touch with new graphics, along with updated reflective side stripes for the wheels. Among other updates, the motorcycle features a new muffler cover finished in a matte paint scheme, rather than the chrome muffler as found on the standard version. The company is offering the Sports Edition with a choice of two colours –Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Grey Metallic.
