KTM and Husqvarna prices hiked substantially

By Aditya Jadhav | on July 5, 2021

Third price hike in the calendar year 2021, KTM and Husqvarna have increased the prices of most of their models substantially. The Husqvarna twins on sale in India have breached the Rs 2 lakh mark.

In the first week of April 2021, KTM and Husqvarna hiked the prices across all its portfolio. That was the company’s second price hike of the year – the first one was at the start of the calendar year 2021.

Now, half a year later, KTM and Husqvarna have hiked the prices of their models substantially. For perspective, the most affordable KTM, the 125 Duke is now priced at Rs 1.7 lakh. The entry point in the Husqvarna brand, the Svartpilen 250 is priced at Rs 2.10 lakh. The KTM 125 Duke has seen a hike of Rs 10,000 whereas the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 has seen a hike of 11,000.

The reason for the price hike is the increased purchase cost of raw materials and higher logistic charges. Following is the updated price list along with the hike of all the KTM and Husqvarna models. All prices mentioned in the story are ex-showroom.
