KTM is stepping into the electric motorcycle market with its new KTM Electric Duke, recently teased in a video by stunt rider Rok Bagoroš. This electric motorcycle will carry forward the signature Duke performance while promoting green mobility. The new model highlights KTM’s strategy to merge high performance with sustainable technology in the electric two-wheeler space.
The KTM e-Duke features aggressive streetfighter styling, staying true to the Duke legacy. Design elements include an angular LED headlight with a central projector, a muscular tank, and sharp tank shrouds. The split-seat design completes the bold look, making sure the electric version stands out visually strong among KTM’s petrol-powered bikes.

Built for performance, the electric Duke is expected to offer top-quality hardware. It gets adjustable upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, alloy wheels, and disc brakes at both ends. A compact TFT display will likely show key ride stats. KTM may also include rider-friendly electronics such as lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, and launch mode, enhancing safety and control.
Although KTM hasn’t revealed full electric Duke specifications, early reports hint at a 5.5kWh battery paired with a 10kW motor. Details like range, charging time, top speed, and acceleration are still awaited. However, KTM’s strong performance background has created high expectations in the growing electric motorcycle segment.

Bajaj Auto will acquire a majority stake in KTM through its Netherlands-based arm, Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV (BAIHBV). This move shifts Bajaj from a minority investor to the main stakeholder, aiming to revive KTM’s finances and expand its global footprint in the premium motorcycle segment.
Bajaj has helped export KTM bikes from India to over 80 countries. With this deal, it plans to bring fresh capital and direction to KTM, reinforcing its role in the global two-wheeler market and its focus on high-performance motorcycles.
