Given the notable updates, likely weight reduction, and new colour options, the updated Yezdi Scrambler is expected to be priced higher than the outgoing model (Rs 2.12 lakh, ex-showroom).

The Yezdi Scrambler hasn’t seen any major update since its launch in India four years ago, but that’s likely to change soon. A new Yezdi bike will launch tomorrow, i.e., April 23, and we anticipate that it could be the updated Scrambler. While official details are still under wraps, the bike will reportedly see some of the key changes in the form of weight reduction and improved ride quality. The existing Yezdi Scrambler is priced from Rs 2.12 lakh. Given the notable updates, a slight price hike is expected. Read on to find out what to expect.
The all-new Scrambler will likely shave off around 10-20 kgs of weight, with the use of lighter components, revised internals and a single exhaust setup. For reference, the kerb weight of the existing model is 192 kg. The motorcycle is also expected to come with a revised suspension at the rear, potentially a monoshock unit, with increased travel. Currently, the bike rides on a 41mm telescopic front fork and twin gas-filled shock absorbers with preload adjustability. In addition, the new version of the bike may get fresh paint schemes, and graphics for a more refined appearance.

As for the engine, the revised Scrambler is likely to be equipped with the same Alpha 2 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 29.36bhp at 8,000rpm, and a peak torque of 28.21Nm at 6,750rpm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
While there’s no official confirmation yet, Yezdi could be working on a bigger, more powerful Scrambler 650 to sit above the current model. The bike will likely retain the existing bike's styling cues while sitting on a bigger 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, also found on the BSA Gold Star 650, which is also sold under the Classic Legends umbrella. This unit produces 44bhp at 6,500rpm and 55Nm at 4,000rpm, and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
