Simple Energy, the electric two-wheeler start-up, has launched the new OneS electric scooter in India, priced at Rs 1.39 lakh. With this launch, the company expands its electric scooter range while also discontinuing the previous entry-level model, the Simple Dot One, which was priced at Rs 1.46 lakh. The brand now offers two models in its portfolio: the Simple OneS and the Simple One Gen 1.5, priced at Rs 1.66 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The Simple OneS boasts a sporty design and is available in four colour options: Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red. It comes equipped with a fixed battery system and is tailored for seamless commutes across rural, semi-urban, and urban areas.

Simple OneS: Appearance

The Simple OneS maintains the distinctive styling cues of the Simple One, featuring a more streamlined tail section, a bold front profile with a sharply sculpted headlamp, as well as edgy body panels.

It includes advanced features such as Find My Vehicle, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and both regenerative and rapid braking for enhanced safety and improved riding efficiency. Additionally, the electric scooter offers a park assist function with forward and reverse movement, ensuring easy maneuverability in tight spaces. Connectivity options include a 5G e-SIM, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.

Simple OneS: Mechanical Setup

This electric scooter has a 3.7kWh fixed battery pack, delivering an IDC-rated range of 181km on a single charge – an increase of 21km over the Dot One, despite retaining the same battery capacity. The motor produces a peak power of 11.39bhp, allowing the OneS to reach a top speed of 105km/h.
