The 2020 Macan GTS completes the current Macan series; slots between the Macan S and Macan Turbo.

Porsche has completed its current Macan series with the launch of the 2020 Macan GTS. For those not aware, the GTS derivative was a part of the previous-gen Macan line-up as well. For 2020 though, the Macan GTS gets a bump in power, a tweaked chassis and enhanced equipment & visual cues.

2020 Porsche Macan GTS Interior

The 2020 Macan GTS draws its power from the same 2.9-litre Biturbo V6 unit as the Macan S. In the GTS though, the mill generates  375bhp and 520Nm of torque. That's 26bhp & 40Nm more than the current Macan S and 20bhp more than the previous Macan GTS. Armed with Porsche's PDK dual-clutch gearbox, the Macan GTS can do its 0-100km/h run in 4.7 seconds (with the optional Sports Chrono Package). Standard equipment on the 2020 Macan GTS comes in the form of a 15mm lowered chassis, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), multifunction sports steering wheel, gear shift paddles and GTS-exclusive eight-way adjustable sports seats.

Like all Porsche GTS models, the Macan GTS also gets distinct black-painted body bits - trim strips, rear diffuser insert, tailpipes and bits of the front fascia. The black theme further continues with darkened Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) LED headlamps and LED taillamp bar. The Macan GTS comes with a Sport Design Package as standard and rides on 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels. While the Spyder wheels hide 360mm & 330mm cast iron brakes as standard, the braking capabilities can be improved with the optional Tungsten Carbide Porsche Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB) or Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).
