The LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR will go on sale globally via LEGO and McLaren retail outlets, as well as LEGO's online channels, on 1st January 2021.
Since 2015, LEGO has recreated a number of McLaren models for its discerning fanbase, like the McLaren P1, the 720S (2017), and the McLaren Senna (2019). This time, though, the British marque has descended into LEGO's more technical and challenging collection – LEGO Technic – with the track-focused Senna GTR. It's the first McLaren model that'll go on sale as a LEGO Technic creation.
Suitable for ages 10 and above, the 32cm-long LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR features a V8 engine, with moving parts (like the pistons), and the signature dihedral doors, which can be opened. Plus, with 830 pieces comprising the entire build, it's safe to say that building the LEGO Senna GTR will be appreciably challenging.
As mentioned above, the LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR will go on sale on 1st January 2021, with an expected retail price of $50. Not too long ago, the LEGO Technic range had emerged with some more iconic recreations like the Bugatti Chiron, Land Rover Defender, Ducati Panigale V4 R, and Dom's Dodge Charger from the Fast & Furious movie franchise, to name a few.
