Honda has added a new member to its highly anticipated ‘0 Series’ lineup – the 0 α (Alpha). Currently in prototype form, Honda has confirmed that the production model will be launched in India in 2027, alongside its debut in the brand’s home market of Japan. This marks the third model in Honda’s 0 (Zero) Series of electric vehicles, following the 0 Saloon and 0 SUV, which made their debut at CES 2024. With the ‘0 Series’, Honda is reimagining electric mobility from the ground up.
Each model in this lineup will be developed under the company’s 'Thin, Light, and Wise' approach. Honda states that the newly unveiled 0 α electric SUV will serve as a 'gateway model' for the series, meaning it will be the most accessible, mass-market offering designed to attract a broad range of customers.
The Honda 0 α features classic SUV proportions paired with a sleek, sophisticated bodywork. As the entry model in the lineup, it appears more compact than the larger 0 SUV showcased at CES 2025, yet it has an equally eye-catching appeal.

Honda has cleverly worked on the 0 α to appeal to buyers seeking a mix of classic SUV styling and modern sophistication. Hence, from every angle, the Honda 0 α exudes modern taste. The front is defined by a clean, screen-like surface that seamlessly integrates the slender headlamps, the illuminated Honda emblem, and the charging port. The lower front bumper flows into the side cladding. Meanwhile, the side profile boasts sculpted arches housing aero-inspired alloy wheels.

The rear features a U-shaped light bar that links the tail, turn, and reverse lights. It also highlights the rear screen's sleek contour.
Although the interior of the Honda 0 α remains under wraps, the brand has confirmed that the SUV follows its 'Thin' design philosophy, achieving a low-slung, streamlined silhouette without sacrificing ground clearance. This will result in a slim yet roomy cabin that balances comfort and practicality for occupants. As the gateway model to the 0 Series, the 0 α is expected to be generously equipped with advanced connectivity and convenience features.
