Honda starts accepting online bookings through its Honda Car India website via a simple and minimalistic step-by-step model, will even facilitate the delivery of your new car to the address of your choice.
At a time when the coronavirus pandemic sure has brought regular daily life to a grinding halt, carmakers are finding new ways to connect with prospective customers and automotive aficionados, be it through car colouring books or opening bookings online. Along these lines, Honda car India has launched its new online car booking section on the company’s website in the new ‘Book Now’ section.
Once you click on the tab and enter the section, it prompts you to enter your personal details to verify your credentials via e-mail and mobile phone number. The next step requires you to select the model, variant and fuel type along with colour shade and manual or automatic transmission. Customers can then select their location and dealership of their choice from where they would like to make the purchase. Post this the customer proceeds to the booking page by choosing a payment option. Once the booking has been made, a booking confirmation ID is generated and sent to the customer via e-mail and SMS. The same ID is also communicated with the dealership which then appoints a sales executive who will contact the customer for further details, payment options, finance and paperwork. Once the payment method has been decided and setup between the dealership and the customer, the car will be delivered to the customer's address of choice depending on the availability of the model. Of course, this can only happen once the lockdown opens up. And once normalcy resumes, the duration of booking and waiting periods will further change.
