In a brief period, the South Korean automaker's Exter has emerged as the most favoured model in India. Its growing popularity, as evidenced by bookings that are getting close to one lakh, and its remarkable sales numbers, speak for themselves. The Hyundai Exter competes with SUVs like the Tata Punch, the Nissan Magnite, and the Renault Kiger and is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Market reports state that Hyundai has shipped 31,174 Exter units in the domestic market between July and October, indicating a respectable start for the vehicle. Hyundai's compact SUV is based on the same chassis as the Grand i10 but exudes a different design.
The front of the SUV is defined by projector headlights, a black mesh radiator grille, and an H-shaped LED daytime running light, while the rear is distinguished by H-shaped LED taillamps, a tailboard with a slanted rear glass, a shark-fin antenna, a rear wiper, and an integrated roof spoiler.
