Mahindra XUV 3XO Gets First Price Hike Since Launch in April, Range Now Starts at Rs 7.79 Lakh

Nearly 6 months after launching the XUV 3XO in India, Mahindra has revised the prices of the vehicle. The Mahindra XUV 3XO now ranges from Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base MX1 petrol-MT variant, reflecting an increase of Rs 30,000. While the prices of the MX3 Pro remain the same, the MX2 Pro petrol variants are now Rs 25,000 dearer. Like the MX1 petrol variants, the AX5 models with a 109bhp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine have undergone a price hike of Rs 30,000. On the other hand, the AX5 diesel models are priced from Rs 12.19 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Having said that, the top-spec AX7 is priced the same – from Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Take a close look at the variant-wise revised pricing of the XUV 3XO:

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Powertrain Options

The XUV 3XO packs in three engine options: a 109bhp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol; 129bhp, 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol; and 115bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. The vehicle gets a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for petrol engines. While a 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, the diesel engine gets a 6-speed AMT as an option. The turbo-petrol engine gives out an ARAI-certified mileage of up to 20.1km/l, while the diesel unit has a fuel efficiency of up to 21.2km/l. 

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Features

Features-wise, the Mahindra XUV 3XO offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, as well as a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon music system, an AdrenoX connectivity suite, and wireless charging. In terms of safety, it has six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESP), a blind spot monitor, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a segment-first Level 2 ADAS suite.

In the segment, the XUV 3XO goes against the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, and Renault Kiger.
