Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Platform and Powertrain

The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be built on Toyota's TNGA-C framework. A 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain from the Hycross, capable of producing a maximum power of 183bhp, will power the new MPV and will be paired with the e-CVT gearbox. Additionally, the multipurpose vehicle's entry-level variants are likely to get a 2.0-litre gasoline engine, with a maximum power output of 173bhp, which will be mated to a CVT gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Exterior and Interior

Design-wise, the Invicto and the Innova Hycross are likely to be the same. The Toyota logo will be changed to the brand's logo on the front grille in order to distinguish between the two. According to the previous spy photos, the all-new Maruti MPV will debut with a two-slat chrome grille, featuring a hexagonal mesh pattern. Broad air dams, low-mounted LED DRLs, and lower bumper mounting will continue to be the same.

The Invicto's interior will also see a few alterations in terms of upholstery and features. Although the free-standing infotainment screen with wireless mobile connectivity and the dashboard design will likely be the same, the new MPV could get upgrades in the form of a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, motorised Ottoman captain chairs in the second row, ambient lighting, etc. According to recent market reports, it has been suggested that the MPV from Maruti Suzuki might not include certain Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components or potentially even the entire set of ADAS features.
