The upcoming Beijing Motor Show is all set to begin later this week and promises to dazzle enthusiasts with many fascinating cars and concepts, including the EXE181 electric hypercar concept from MG. MG has already revealed the concept's design, which includes innovative wheel covers, prominent fenders, an extended tail with active aerodynamic flaps, and a capsule-like cabin. The electric hypercar's upper portion seems to be transparent, offering a view of suspension components and the steering. Notably, the absence of conventional doors suggests that the EXE181's roof likely opens to facilitate the entry for the driver. The cabin seems to be ingeniously designed, featuring a single centre-mounted seat for the driver and a yoke-shaped steering wheel with an inbuilt touchscreen. The yoke-style steering image indicates that the e-hypercar concept will likely use a quad-motor drivetrain, although MG has yet to confirm it. The total power output is yet to be revealed by the company, but reports claim that the concept would generate more than 1000bhp. The concept can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in a claimed time of just 1.9 seconds. The UFO-shaped electric hypercar is said to have an aerodynamic coefficient value of 0.181cd.
