MG India has launched the new Windsor EV Pro at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 17.49 lakh, applicable to the first 8,000 buyers only. For those opting for the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, the EV will be available at a reduced ex-showroom price of Rs 12.50 lakh, with a battery rental cost of Rs 4.5/km. The Pro variant of the MG EV is offered in three striking colour options: Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver. The vehicle also comes with comprehensive after-sales benefits, including a 3-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, 3-year roadside assistance, and 3 years of labour-free servicing. Additionally, MG is offering a lifetime battery warranty for all first owners. Bookings for the model will open on May 8, and interested customers can reserve their vehicle through the brand's official website.
The Windsor EV Pro now draws power from an upgraded 52.9kWh LFP battery pack, significantly larger than the earlier 38kWh unit. The power and torque figures remain unchanged at 134bhp and 200Nm.

The Pro version significantly extends driving range, offering up to 449 km on a single charge, an improvement over the standard model’s 332 km ARAI-rated range powered by the smaller 38kWh LFP battery.
MG has revamped the Windsor EV Pro’s interior, introducing a more refined and upmarket ambience. The cabin now features a stylish contrast between beige and black, with beige applied to key touchpoints such as the door liners, seats, roof lining, and armrests, while the dashboard and other surfaces adopt a sleek black finish.
Despite the visual refresh, the EV continues to pack a long list of amenities, including a large 15.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, and aero-style reclining rear seats for added comfort. It also retains a premium 9-speaker Infinity audio system, wireless phone charging, a panoramic glass sunroof, and wireless Apple CarPly and Android Auto. Additionally, MG has confirmed that the model will feature Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing the car’s battery to power external electronic devices.
On the safety front, the Windsor EV Pro comes well-equipped with a wide array of advanced features. These include an electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill descent control, a 360-degree camera for enhanced all-around visibility, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist, six airbags, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC). The vehicle also features Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering semi-autonomous capabilities and proactive safety functions such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and traffic jam assist.
