Honda Cars India has revised the pricing of the City e:HEV, pushing its sole ZX variant to Rs 20.85 lakh (ex-showroom), up Rs 29,900 from the previous price tag of Rs 20.55 lakh (ex-showroom). When the hybrid sedan made its debut in May 2022, it was introduced at Rs 19.50 lakh (ex-showroom). In spite of the latest price adjustment, the City e:HEV continues to offer a strong proposition within the hybrid market. Powered by Honda’s advanced dual-motor e-CVT system, it delivers a combined 124bhp of maximum power and claims a fuel economy of 26.5km/l. The vehicle also benefits from the Honda Sensing safety suite and a range of high-grade features. These factors position it as a practical and efficient choice for environmentally minded buyers who also value refined performance and modern safety technology.

This setup enables three driving modes – EV, Hybrid, and Engine Drive – allowing the vehicle to adapt to different driving conditions efficiently.
The system also features regenerative braking, which captures energy during deceleration to recharge the lithium-ion battery. Together, the components produce a combined power output of 124bhp and 253Nm of peak torque.

Inside, the cabin features a refined dual-tone Ivory and Black colour scheme. The dashboard incorporates carbon fibre-like accents and Piano Black elements on the air vents and steering wheel, giving it a sporty yet upscale appearance. The car is well-equipped with modern amenities, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, keyless entry, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, a premium audio system with four speakers and four tweeters, wireless phone charging, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, and steering-mounted controls.
In terms of safety, the City e:HEV offers a robust suite of features. These include traction control, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, vehicle stability assist, a multi-angle rearview camera, brake assist, six airbags, ISOFIX mounts for child seats at the rear, ABS with EBD, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, agile handling assist, tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS), and rear parking sensors.

The model further enhances the safety and convenience quotient with features such as rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, and a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) including adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, and road departure mitigation.
