Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Celerio, Wagon R Get Discounts of up to Rs 1 Lakh in November

Maruti Suzuki has introduced attractive discount offers on select models from its lineup for November 2023. The Arena dealers offer sizeable discounts and benefits of up to Rs 59,000 on the Wagon R and the Celerio. Meanwhile, the Jimny 5-door SUV and the Baleno hatchback from the company's Nexa lineup can be had at Rs. 1 lakh off and Rs 40,000 off, respectively. These benefits are cumulative and can be availed in the form of cash discounts, exchange exchange bonuses, and corporate offers. Note that these offers are valid till November 30, 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-Door (up to Rs 1 Lakh Benefits)

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-Door is a body-on-frame 4x4 SUV retailed via Maruti's Nexa dealerships. Offered in Zeta and Alpha variants, the off-roader gets a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15B petrol motor (103bhp/134Nm), mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

That said, both the manual and automatic versions of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny Zeta are available with a cash discount of Rs 50,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. On the other hand, the range-topping Alpha is being offered with only an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. Price-wise, the off-road SUV ranges between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.89 lakh in India. All prices are ex-showroom. 

Maruti Suzuki Celerio (up to Rs 59,000 Benefits)

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is in its second generation and is currently offered in 4 variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus. Prices of the vehicle start at Rs 5.37 lakh, while the maximum price is set at Rs 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Under the hood, the hatchback gets a 66bhp, 1.0-litre NA petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed MT or an AMT, making it one of 16 models in Maruti Suzuki's India lineup to come with an automatic gearbox. Onboard CNG, a 1.0-litre engine puts out 56bhp and 82.1Nm of torque – down 10bhp and 6.9Nm over the petrol version – and is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

For November 2023, the carmaker is offering discounts of up to Rs 59,000 on petrol-manual variants of the hatchback. These include a cash discount of Rs 35,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000. Meanwhile, both the AMT-equipped and CNG variants get discounts and benefits of up to Rs 54,000, including a cash discount of Rs 30,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000. 

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R (up to Rs 49,000 Benefits)

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, India's best-selling car, is available with a total discount of up to Rs 49,000 at select dealerships. Interested customers can avail of a Rs. 25,000 cash discount, Rs 20,000 exchange bonus, as well as a Rs 4,000 corporate discount. The tallboy hatchback comes with two engine options: a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder K-Series petrol base engine that belts out 89Nm and 65bhp and a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder K-Series petrol engine that produces 88bhp and 113Nm. On offer is also a CNG powertrain. 

Built on the Heartect platform, the Wagon R's large, welcoming interior offers plenty of head- and legroom for every passenger, along with a touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, and a multi-function steering wheel. In terms of pricing, the hatchback starts at Rs 5.55 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.31 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno (up to Rs 40,000)

Last but not least, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno with petrol powertrain gets a cash discount of up to Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, while the CNG variants have benefits of up to Rs 35,000 (Rs 10,000 cash discount and Rs 25,000 exchange bonus). Available in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants, the hatchback is up for purchase at a starting price of Rs 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
