Tata Nexon Crosses 7 Lakh Unit Sales Milestone in India; Gets Benefits of up to Rs 1 Lakh

Tata Motors has reported that it has sold 7 lakh Nexon sub-4 metre compact SUVs in India, marking a significant milestone. To commemorate this feat, all Tata Motors passenger vehicle dealerships and showrooms across India are hosting exclusive events and customer meets. Buyers who have booked and are awaiting their Nexon's delivery can also receive incentives of up to Rs 1 lakh (depending on model and variant). There are four Nexon variants available for purchase: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless. Furthermore, there is the Dark Edition edition, which is limited to the Creative and Fearless versions. Please take note that these benefits are only available for reservations made through June 30th.

Tata Nexon: Powertrain Options

The Tata Nexon has two engine options: a 1.5-litre diesel unit and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit. The diesel engine delivers 113bhp of maximum power and 260Nm of peak torque, while the turbocharged petrol engine produces 118bhp and 170Nm of maximum torque. Furthermore, gearbox options include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, seven-speed DCT (with paddle shifters), and a five-speed manual.

Tata Nexon: Feature Set

The base model Nexon Smart+ has several drive modes, an electronic stability control (ESC), six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, LED DRLs, a seven-inch touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four speakers, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Features like voice commands, touch-based HVAC controls, knitted roof liners, roof rails, rear AC vents, and fully LED headlights and tail lamps are all included with the Pure trim. A sunroof, automatic headlight and wiper system, and electrochromic IRVM are among the additional amenities available on the Pure S model.

Tata Nexon: Price and Rivals

The starting price of the SUV stands at Rs 7.99 lakh. The price of the new Nexon Petrol Smart Plus petrol AMT variant is Rs 10 lakh, while the Petrol Pure petrol AMT is Rs 10.50 lakh. The Petrol Pure S model costs Rs 11 lakh. The asking price of the Pure S Diesel AMT and the Pure Diesel AMT are Rs 12.30 lakh and Rs 11.80 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
