Bajaj CT 110 Highlights
The Bajaj CT110 – a no-frills commuter from the Chakan-based automaker – is positioned between the CT100 and a more premium the Platina 100. While the overall silhouette remains identical to the CT100, the CT110 gets blacked-out treatment on the alloy wheels, engine, suspension and handlebar. Additionally, it also gets a new set of decals for a fresh appeal. For better comfort, Bajaj has also added tank grips and a thick cushion on the seat. However, the most significant upgrade comes in terms of the powertrain – the CT110 is powered by a 115cc air-cooled motor that also propels the Platina 110.
Exterior Details
The CT110 is more or less identical to its smaller sibling – the CT100. As a matter of fact, the changes are next to none, at least to the untrained eye. In terms of dimensions, the CT110 is 1,945mm long, 752mm wide and 1,072mm high. It has a fuel holding capacity of 10.5 litres and a ground clearance of 170mm. Furthermore, the lower kerb weight of 116kg makes the CT110 an agile commuter.
Engine & Transmission
The Bajaj CT110 boasts a 115cc DTSI air-cooled single-cylinder mill that is capable of pushing out 8.6bhp and 9.81Nm of torque. The DTSI engine comes mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. The engine has a nice spread of torque in the lower end of the rev range. The lack of fifth gear, however, is prominent at higher speeds.
Mileage
The Bajaj CT110 has a claimed fuel economy of 104km/h. Open the throttle, and the bike reaches a top speed of 85km/h.
Handling
The Bajaj CT110 handles fantastically well on the smooth tarmac. The telescopic fork suspension at the front and SNS suspension at the rear allow the bike to glide over the bad undulations without any problem. It sits on a tubular, semi-double cradle frame chassis. The braking power comes from 130mm drums at the front and the rear. As for the rubber, the CT110 comes equipped with 80/100-17 tyres at both ends.
Features
The Bajaj CT110 new model has the same level of equipment as its smaller sibling. For instrumentation, the CT110 comes with a twin-pod analogue setup for the speedometer as well as the tachometer. Also, the head and the taillamp have conventional halogen bulbs.
Price & Variants
The Bajaj CT110 comes in two variants. The Bajaj CT110 price (as of mid-2019) is ₹38,291 for the KS Alloy variant and ₹44,512 for the top-of-the-line ES Alloy variant. The Bajaj CT110 comes with a standard 2-year warranty from Bajaj. For the Bajaj CT110 on road prices, be sure to check our price section.
