About MG Cars
Morris Garages, commonly known as MG, was founded in 1924. In the same year, its first car was born, which was christened Old Number One. In 1933, MG's new car K3 surprised the world. It claimed a stupendous victory in one of the toughest races in the world – Mille Miglia. Twelve years later, the MG TC – a car with the latest technology and gizmos of its time – was launched. It took the American automotive market by storm and started a craze for Sportscars.
In the next decade, all MG cars were extolled for their solid performance, looks, and features. So much so that Prince Charles bought the MGC himself during his university days. Between 1980 and 2000, the company produced five-door hatchbacks with impeccable driving dynamics.
