2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour launched at Rs 37.20 lakh

Honda has officially launched the motorcycle via the CBU route. The 2021 Gold Wing Tour is priced at ₹37.20 lakh for the manual transmission (6MT) version, while the dual-clutch automatic (7DCT) + airbag model will set you back ₹39.16 lakh. Both figures are ex-showroom, Gurugram.

The 2021 Gold Wing goes on sale via Honda's BigWing Topline dealerships in six cities across India.

Just a few days ago, we had reported that Honda will soon launch the 2021 Gold Wing in India, and today, the Japanese marque has officially launched the motorcycle via the CBU route. The 2021 Gold Wing Tour is priced at ₹37.20 lakh for the manual transmission (6MT) version, while the dual-clutch automatic (7DCT) + airbag model will set you back by ₹39.16 lakh. Both figures are ex-showroom, Gurugram. Bookings can either be made online or through Honda's BigWing Topline dealerships in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, and Kochi. There are two colour options on offer – Pearl Glare White (MT) and Gunmetal Black Metallic/Matte Morion Black (DCT).

Like the standard Gold Wing, the Tour model is also powered by a 1,833cc 24-valve liquid-cooled flat-six motor that develops 124.7bhp @ 5,500rpm and 170Nm of torque @ 4,500rpm. Electronic rider aids like four ride modes (TOUR, SPORT, ECON & RAIN), Throttle by Wire, Dual Combined Brake System (D-CBS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), and Hill-Start Assist (HSA) are part of the standard kit with both gearbox options. However, the DCT-equipped version offers additional features, such as Idling Stop (auto Stop/Start) and an airbag.

For 2021, the Gold Wing Tour gets an additional 11 litres of storage for the rear top box, bringing up the total luggage capacity to 121 litres. Other features on offer include a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, Honda Smart Key, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Bluetooth connectivity, two USB Type-C ports, an updated audio system with lighter speakers, built-in navigation, an electric windscreen, etc.
