Bajaj Auto is actively updating the entire Pulsar bike range, with recent launches including the revised N250 and the all-new NS400Z. The company is also developing the lower-spec variants of the Pulsar lineup in addition to the top-spec models, for example, the new 125cc Pulsar. To put things in perspective, Bajaj currently produces and sells two 125cc Pulsar motorcycles: the Pulsar NS125 and the classic Pulsar 125. The third 125cc Pulsar, most likely the N125, is currently in the works by the Chakan-based bike manufacturer.

Bajaj Pulsar N125: Design Details

A test mule of the rumoured Pulsar N125 has been spotted once more in a completely camouflaged avatar. The most recent spy images of the Bajaj Pulsar N125 show a sporty style, consistent with all the new-generation Pulsar models. The headlight, however, differs slightly, using a multi-reflector LED arrangement rather than a projector LED unit. The muscular fuel tank and expanded shrouds lend it a beefier appearance.

Based on the frame and the box-style swingarm, the test mule appears to be built on the Pulsar N150 platform. Some other striking visual features include a split-seat arrangement, a tyre hugger, an elevated tail section, a single-piece pillion grab rail, and twin LED taillights. Coming to the seat, the spy photos show the rider in an upright riding stance, even though the footpegs are somewhat rearset.

Bajaj Pulsar N125: Engine Specs

Bajaj is anticipated to produce a brand-new 125cc engine for the Pulsar N125. The 124.45cc single-cylinder engine that powers the Pulsar NS125 produces 11.8bhp of maximum power and 11Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the same engine on the old Pulsar 125 puts out 10.80Nm of torque at 6,500rpm and 11.64bhp at 8,500rpm.

Bajaj Pulsar N125: Features

On the feature front, the Pulsar N125 will come equipped with amenities like a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, call and text alerts, and a USB charger, given the manufacturer's intention to market it as a premium 125cc offering. The bike will also feature a phone battery and signal indicator but sans turn-by-turn navigation.

Bajaj Pulsar N125: Hardware Components

Hardware-wise, the new 125cc Pulsar will be supported by a diamond-shaped frame, suspended by a preload-adjustable rear monoshock and telescopic front fork. A front disc brake and a rear drum brake will handle braking duties. The bikemaker might not equip the bike with a single-channel ABS to keep costs down. Instead, a combined braking system could be available.
