Hyundai has trademarked the Casper name in India, a crossover already available in the global market. Although an official announcement is pending, rumours are circulating online that the South Korean carmaker may bring the model here to rival models like the Tata Punch, Tata Tiago, and the Maruti Suzuki WagonR. If launched, the car will be positioned below the compact Exter in the lineup. It is expected to succeed the Santro, which Hyundai no longer offers in India. Market assumptions suggest that the sportier styling of the Casper may garner more market attention than the Santro's traditional hatchback appearance in our country. Let's learn more about the recently trademarked model in more detail.
