Mahindra & Mahindra, in line with industry compliance with SIAM’s voluntary code on vehicle recall, has recalled a select batch its SUV, the XUV500. The recall is only for those ‘cheetah-inspired’ cars manufactured between 2011 and 2012. The company says that the reason for this recall is that certain parts need replacement.

The replacement of three parts - the fluid hose, front power window units as well as the left wiper blade cover will be carried out with immediate effect. Mahindra says that the customers will be contacted individually and the parts will be replaced free of cost.
