Mercedes-AMG C43 Officially Teased Ahead of India Launch on November 2

Alongside the Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic, the premium automaker will launch the highly-anticipated GLE Facelift in India on November 2.

The upcoming Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic has been officially teased prior to launch in India on November 2. In addition to the new AMG C43, the GLE Facelift will be introduced in our market. To pique buyers' interest, the premium manufacturer recently posted teasers of the new AMG C43 on its social media page. As shown in the images, the Mercedes-AMG C43 has a Panamericana grille and LED headlamps with LED DRLs in the L-shape, as well as black ORVMs and two-tone alloy wheels. It also has wraparound two-piece LED taillights, a bold diffuser, and dual exhaust tips on both sides. Notably, the new AMG C43 is a sportier C-Class variant that will face off against the BMW M340i and the Audi S5 Sportback in India. With new AMG C43 teasers circulating online, let's take a quick look at its specifications and characteristics.

Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic: Interior

 Inside, the Mercedes-AMG sedan will include an 11.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with AMG-specific visual graphics. Apart from that, the car will encompass a few AMG-specific elements, such as sports seats, pedals, a leather-covered flat-bottom steering wheel, and red seat belts, among other things.  

Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic: Powertrain

Coming to the heart of the matter - the new Mercedes-AMG C43 will be equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder hybrid engine (M139) that comes with an electric turbocharger. This turbocharger is powered by a 48V electrical system that also powers the belt-driven starter-generator (RSG). The engine in the C43 produces an impressive 402bhp at 6,750rpm and 500Nm at 5,000rpm. Additionally, the RSG can provide an extra 13bhp through a boost function. The C43 AMG has a nine-speed automatic transmission with the 'Race Start' feature, which delivers power to all four wheels via Mercedes' 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Facelift Also On Its Way to India

As previously mentioned, the premium automaker will also launch the redesigned GLE SUV in the country. The current GLE model features a variety of modifications, both inside and exterior. New LED headlights, updated taillights, modified bumpers, refreshed alloy wheels, a revamped MBUX infotainment system, and a redesigned multifunction steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls, are among these upgrades.
