Alongside Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, and Honda exhibiting their latest and upcoming automobiles at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, Mitsubishi has also revealed a new concept SUV, and people are speculating it to be a precursor to the return of the Pajero. While Mitsubishi has been silent on that front, it has revealed a few details that have caught our attention.
The Elevance concept features an overall muscular styling with a dual-tone rose gold and black paint scheme. It gets segmented lights at the front (which are not connected, thankfully), along with a glowing Mitsubishi logo and a hexagonal pattern for the grille. The rear gets tick-shaped lights that are (well!) connected, and you also get a similar glowing logo as seen on the front face.

The greenhouse is expansive and extends quite deeper into the doors. The wheels are fairly large as well, and they get a chunky design.

Inside the cabin, the concept features three rows of seating, a plain dashboard with a panoramic triple-screen setup, and an octagonal steering wheel, which by the way, has another screen embedded into it.
Mitsubishi says that the concept is a plug-in-hybrid vehicle. It comes with a quad-motor setup, along with a petrol engine that is also compatible with carbon-neutral fuels. There’s a four-wheel drive setup on board as well.

The carmaker has also showcased a matching trailer that comes with a kitchen and a shower inside, positioning the concept as some sort of a high-tech camping vehicle.

The concept looks far from production in its current state, though there might be some elements picked up from it that we could see in upcoming Mitsubishi SUVS.
