Mercedes-Benz India today launched their flagship store in India. Spread over an area of over 60,000 sq ft, the showroom was built by their dealer T&T Motors at an investment of Rs. 70 crores.

Equipped with the ability to showcase 26 cars, it is Mercedes' single biggest showroom in India. It also has an exclusive floor to showcase their performance arm AMG's cars. It also features a Mercedes Cafe which will serve visiting customers.

Speaking at the launch, Mercedes India's new CEO & MD Mr. Eberhard Kern, indicated that they intend to launch the new GL and a diesel version of the B-Class in 2013, along with their A-Class launch. The A-Class will be launched with both petrol & diesel engines at launch.

Also, he confirmed that the CLA would be coming to India but declined to indicate any expected launch date for the same.
