Toyota has launched the updated versions of its hatchback, Liva and sedan, Etios to woo the young buyers in India. Toyota has made a few changes to the exterior to upgrade the look of the car like a slightly modified front grille, a new grey paint for both Etios and Liva, re-designed taillamp inserts, higher ground clearance and re-styled wing mirrors with turn indicators.

The changes are made to the inside too as it gets dual-tone interiors with beige trim, faux wood trim on the armrests, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and adjustable front headrests.

Additional interior upgrades include new blue back-lighting for the instrument cluster, a 2-DIN music system with USB and Aux-in capability and a remote.

Toyota has also launched the Liva TRD Sportivo as a regular variant (which was previously a limited edition). It receives the 1.5-litre 90bhp petrol motor from its saloon cousin. Sporty in looks the TRD Sportivo will be priced at Rs. 6.13 lakhs.

The Etios sedan bears a price tag of  Rs. 5.45- 7.08 lakhs for the petrol and 6.70- 8.15 for the diesel version. The Etios Liva is priced at Rs. 4.46- 5.99,for the petrol variant and Rs. 5.72- 6.38 for the diesel (all prices ex-showroom New Delhi)
