Here's How Much You Have to Wait to Get Tata Punch EV, Nexon EV, and More in These Cities

An array of Tata EVs, such as the Punch, Nexon, Tigor, and Tiago, currently have waiting periods of up to 3 months in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Thane. The average waiting time for the Tiago EV, which has a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), in July is two months. However, in Hyderabad, the waiting time for the hatchback is one month. Although the electric Tigor (Rs 12.49 lakh, starting, ex-showroom Delhi), also has an average waiting period of two months, customers residing in Chennai, Thane, and Delhi will have to wait 2.5 months to receive their cars.

Coming to the Punch, the electric SUV has a usual waiting period of 2 to 2.5 months, but customers from Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Thane, and Faridabad may have to wait up to three months to bring their Punch home. In comparison, people in Hyderabad can get their SUV in just a month. Notably, the starting price of the Punch is Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In June 2024, the Tata Punch/EV was the best-selling car and SUV. It recorded sales of 18,238 units, registering a YoY growth of 65.95%. 

For the Nexon EV (Rs 14.49 lakh, starting, ex-showroom), the average waiting period is up to 2 – 2.5 months in certain regions, including Bengaluru and Chennai. However, buyers in Delhi may have to wait for three months. Cities such as Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Patna, and Indore, on the other hand, have a waiting period of just one month.
