Mahindra Thar, Bolero and More Get Discounts of up to Rs 72,000 in April

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is offering up to Rs 72,000 in discounts and benefits on select SUV models – the Marazzo, Bolero, Bolero Neo, Thar 4WD, and XUV300 – for April 2023. Now,  the Thar is one of the domestic automaker's best-selling SUVs in India. The company is giving away a tempting discount on the Thar 4X4 version this month. On the petrol and diesel versions of the Thar 4WD (four-wheel drive), buyers can receive a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000. There are two trims available for the SUV: AX (O) and LX. It presently comes with three powertrain options: a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual transmission and RWD, a 2.2-litre diesel with MT and AT gearboxes and only a 4WD system, and a 2.0-litre petrol with both MT and AT transmissions, as well as 4WD and RWD options. While the 1.5-litre diesel and 2.2-litre diesel engines churn out 118bhp and 300Nm and 130bhp and 300Nm, respectively, the petrol engine produces 152bhp and 300Nm.

The Mahindra Thar 4X4 model includes an electronic brake locking differential for improved traction on low-traction roads. Notably, no discounts are being offered by the carmaker on popular models like the XUV700, the Scorpio Classic/Scorpio-N, the Thar 2WD, and the recently launched XUV400 EV. Now, let's take a quick look at the available discounts on other models.

Mahindra Bolero: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 66,000

For April 2023, Mahindra is offering a total discount of Rs 66,000 on the Bolero SUV. Customers can get a cash discount of Rs 51,000 and accessories worth Rs 15,000 for the top-spec B6(O) variant. The mid-spec B6 and base B4 models, meanwhile, get a total discount of Rs 24,000 and Rs 37,000, respectively. A single 1.5-litre diesel engine, with 75bhp, powers the Bolero and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Mahindra Bolero Neo: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 48,000

On the Bolero Neo's higher-spec N10 and N10 (O) variants, a total discount of up to Rs 48,000 is offered, which includes cash discounts worth Rs 36,000 and accessories worth Rs 12,000. The N8 and the N4 variants, which are both entry-level models, receive discounts of Rs 30,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively. The Bolero Neo is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 100bhp and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Mahindra XUV300: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 52,000

This month, you can purchase the XUV300 with benefits of up to Rs 52,000. Customers can receive this maximum discount on the W8 diesel variant of the XUV300, which also includes accessories worth Rs 10,000, in addition to a cash discount of Rs 42,000. On the other hand, discounts of up to Rs 22,000 and Rs 10,000 are currently available on the W8(O) and W6 diesel variants, respectively. Of petrol models, the W8(O) receives a discount of Rs 25,000, while the W8 and W6 variants receive a discount of Rs 20,000. Besides, the XUV300 TurboSport, which is powered by a 130bhp producing 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, gets a discount of Rs 10,000.

Mahindra Marazzo: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 72,000

Up to Rs 72,000 in discounts are available this month on the Marazzo MPV. This cash discount is only applicable for the top-spec M6 variant; in contrast, the mid-spec M4+ and the base M2 variants receive cash discounts of Rs 34,000 and Rs 58,000, respectively. The 1.5-litre diesel engine that powers the Marazzo's one of three trims produces 123bhp and 300Nm torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Marazzo faces direct competition from the Kia Carens, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and XL6.
