Maruti Suzuki has announced in a BSE filing that it will raise the prices of its models in January next year, owing to rising costs due to inflation and rising commodity prices. The company also said that despite its best efforts to cut costs and counteract the rising costs, it is compelled to pass along some of the burden of increased costs to customers. While the carmaker confirmed its plan to implement a price increase, it did not specify the precise amount of the planned hike, which is likely to vary depending on the model. Interestingly, the company also increased the prices of all its products in April and January this year.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Design and Dimensions

The test mule spotted most recently seemed to share several design cues with the concept car, including its strong haunches, silhouette, and short overhangs. Even though the model was heavily disguised, some styling elements were discernible. These include a wide front air intake, LED projector headlights, an integrated roof spoiler, an upright front fascia, an apparent full-width taillight, rear door handles on the C-pillars, and a covered front grille. On top of that, it has a rear-facing tapering roofline, which highlights the vehicle's coupe-SUV design.

The eVX SUV is expected to be around 4,300mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,600mm in height and have a wheelbase of 2,700mm. Plus, it will feature silver-finished multi-spoke alloy wheels.
